Mike is the owner and driver behind Mike James Racing. He drives the team's turbocharged third-generation Camaro in Ultra Street and brings a strong electrical and systems background to the race program. Away from the track, Mike works as a signal engineer for the Long Island Rail Road.
Robin’s automotive career began in dealership service departments, where he worked his way up through the ranks to service advisor roles. Driven by a passion for performance, he opened and ran his own shop for 15 years, specializing in Chevy performance drag cars—Camaros and Corvettes, his bread and butter. He later led engine assembly and dyno operations at Bill Mitchell Racing Engines, overseeing builds and testing. Since retiring, Robin spends his days in the garage, supporting the race program and chasing hands-on projects of his own.
Kiersten handles public relations, event coordination, sponsorships and partner communication for Mike James Racing. She works behind the scenes to keep the team organized, represented well and connected with the companies supporting the program.
Natalie has completed her competition licensing process and is continuing to build seat time, consistency and experience as she works toward the 2027 season.
Luke is the youngest member of Mike James Racing and is already growing up around race cars, tools and weekends at the track. For now, he is learning the ropes from the rest of the family.
